Thursday, March 28th

  • 11:59 PM Pre-sale of Power Plays and Penalty Shots end.  Mystery card eligibilty ends as well ($250 in team donations earns a mystery card)

Friday, March 29th

  • 7:10 PM first game starts
  • 9:30 PM last Friday game starts

Saturday, March 30th

  • 10:00 AM first game starts
  • 1:20 PM scheduled break in games for Easter activities
  • 1:30 PM Wild Construction skate with the Easter Bunny
  • 2:40 PM Shanna Stewart Easter Egg Hunt Starts
  • 2:40 PM games resume 
  • 4:50 PM Final tally of donations for tie breaker determination 
  • 5:00 PM Last seed game starts
  • 6:10 PM 5th vs 6th
  • 7:20 PM 3rd vs 4th
  • 8:30 PM 1st vs 2nd

Mystery cards your team can qualify for with $250 in donations by 3/28/24

  • The Upside Down-You force the other team to play with their sticks upside down for 1 minute.  However, if they score against you with upside down sticks, they will be awarded 2 goals. 
  • Powered Up-Your team gets a 5 on 3 for 2 minutes.  Each time the shorthanded team scores during this 5 on 3 they get a player back immediately until they are at full strength again.     
  • Power Puck-Next goal, regardless of which team scores is worth 2 goals 
  • Goalie Duel-Both goalies get a penalty shot.  If your goalie scores and you are currently losing, you get awarded 2 goals, if you are already winning you receive 1 goal if they score. If tied a goal is worth 1.   The team that played the card goes first. 
  • Bonus Skater-Get a bonus 6th skater for 2 minutes. If the other team scores you lose your 6th skater.  
  • The Head Start-Penalty shot with a twist.  All the skaters line up at the goal line.  The goalie that will be facing the penalty shot calls out the player they want to challenge.  That player takes their spot on the red line with the puck. Play resumes as soon as the penalty shot player touchrd the puck.  The rest of the players then chase down the penalty shot shooter.

Mystery card rules:

  • as these cards are new and in test mode we will not allow them to be used in the championship round.
  • as of this time these can not be purchased at the event, they can only be earned through donations prior to the event. 
  • Donation deadline to earn a mystery card is 11:59 PM March 28th, 2024

Who does this tournament support?

Goons 4 Good

Throughout the year Goons 4 Good gives the majority of money earned from tournaments directly back to the charities.  To continue improving our offerings and in turn increase the earning potential for those charities, it is necessary to grow and improve.  That costs money.  Since Goons 4 Good does not charge any fees for running the events for the charities it is necessary to have a couple revenue streams to continually improve.  Those income streams are the Peepin' It Real Easter Cup and merchandise sales.  

Why You should support goons 4 good

We are a group of small business owners who met playing beer league hockey in Minnesota. After organizing numerous tournament teams together over the years, we decided to join forces and create the ultimate hockey tournament experience for both players and organizations. Goons 4 Good was formed. 

We are continually improving our programs to enhance the benefits to the many charities we work with and this tournament is our 1 tournament per year that is used to help fund Goons 4 Good improvements.

  • Included in registration: 4 game guarantee, 1 player spot, player gift.  Register by March 1st for an upgraded player gift.
