TOURNAMENT RULES

- Three Minute Warm-Up
- The clock starts when the Zamboni doors close. Be ready.
- Three 17 minute running time periods
- Intermissions are one minute long
- No Timeouts
- Stop time WILL NOT be allowed in pool play games
- Penalties: Players must go to the penalty box
- Time will start at the drop of the puck
- Time will run during the stoppage of play
- Four penalty rule
- Any player receiving four penalties in one game will be removed for the remainder of the game
- Games may end in tie except in the final block of championship and consolation games
- Stop time may be used during the last two minutes of the third period if the championship or consolation games are within 2 goals
- The team trailing is required to stop/start the clock during the final two minutes
- The home team is required to stop/start the clock if the game is tied
- If a championship or consolation game is tied at end of regulation time, we will proceed directly into a 3 round shootout with the home team shooting first
- If championship and consolation games is still tied after that, a sudden death shootout will occur
POWER PLAY CARD RULES
HAND CARD TO A REFEREE AT ANY STOPPAGE IN PLAY
THIS CARD ALLOWS BEARER TO CHOOSE ANY PLAYER FROM THE OPPOSING TEAM TO
SERVE A 2 MINUTE BENCH MINOR, THEREFORE, GIVING THE BEARER TEAM A POWER PLAY
ONLY ONE POWERPLAY CARD CAN BE ACTIVE AT A TIME - IF THE OTHER TEAM HAS PLAYED THEIR CARD YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL THEIR PENALTY IS OVER TO PLAY YOURS
