Exhibition series: Iowa Wild 2026 - Annual 2026

New addition to our Exhibition Series for 2026! 

January 31st, 2026 we are traveling down to the exotic land of Iowa for a one night stand in beautiful downtown Des Moines!  Hosted at the lovely Casey's Center, we will have a 1.5hr pick-up style exhibition game from 1:30-3:00pm, followed up by an Iowa Wild game at 6:00pm on the same ice!  We've got lockers reserved with showers so that we can head out for a quick bite before being seated for the game. 

Registration will include just the pick up game.  Once we have a head count we can arrange the group sale for the Iowa Wild tickets, or they can be purchased individually.  I will keep those updated that register. 

Hotel:  we do have a hotel block at the Hampton Inn, Downtown Des Moines. Walkable to both the rink and places to eat/drink afterwards.   Please see link for booking your hotel room. HOTEL BOOKING (Block pricing valid to Jan 8th at midnight)

Carpooling and Room-share:  If you're interested in riding down with a group or splitting a hotel room, please reach out and we will try to pair people as we can!

PLEASE NOTE::

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be cancelling this year’s event. We know how much many of you were looking forward to getting out on the ice, connecting with other players, and supporting the DinoMights organization — and we’re truly sorry to share this news.

DinoMights will be joining us for our Peepin' it Real tournament Easter weekend, so please come join us! 

Anyone who has already registered will receive follow-up communication regarding next steps. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us at info@goons4good.com.

2026 In The Sticks Hockey Tournament - Annual 2026

SFYHA IN THE STICKS HOCKEY TOURNEY- Coed Division-September

• Co-Ed mix level charity hockey tournament
• Opportunity to be a player sponsor,  Add it to your registration for $100.00.  Your name will be on the shirt as a sponsor.  Deadline is 3 weeks before the tournament.
• No team sign ups, sign up as an individual or with a friend. 
• Teams are balanced for maximum fun
• Proceeds will help St Francis Youth Hockey
• Fun added attractions: Purchase penalty shots and power plays, food trucks and other activities at the event
• This is a charity tournament, the only tie breaker is Donations!
